Trey’s first 4 jobs were in ministry and education where he worked primarily with high school and college students.
His work in ministry took him all over the world. He has travelled to 21 countries.
Trey is married to his wife, Emily, in Madison, Ms.
Neal’s wife, Jane, and Emily have been best friends since second grade. Trey and Neal live 1 mile apart.

Neal broke the millennial-generation mold; he has worked only two jobs since graduating college 15 years ago.
Most of these years have been in software development where Neal has a keen understanding of how to build beautiful online products that scale.

Our Story
Starts with a stroke of luck!
Trey Carroll was 28 years old. After working 8 jobs since graduating college 6 years earlier, he decided working with a career coach was needed.
The first thing this coach had him do was take the Birkman Method. He finally knew what he wanted to do!
Then he had a stroke.
It was during the months of recovery that Trey began dreaming about using the Birkman with high school students. That was 5 years, 500 students, and multiple schools ago.
And with all the growth since, his brother, Neal Carroll, joined in 2024 to help fulfill the vision of having EVERY high school student in America work through the NexTest Program.
