Step 1 - Watch Video

Watch the brief video above to learn how we help your senior discover meaningful work with tailored college, major, and job matches. 

Simply submit your senior’s information to reserve their spot. All costs will be covered by JA. After signing up, the assessment will be emailed to students with instructions on how and when to complete. You have until Friday, September 27th to reserve your senior’s spot.

Step 3 - Complete Assessment

Your Senior will complete their assessment online anytime that works for them. It takes roughly 40 minutes.  Onboarding instructions will be sent to him or her.

Step 4- Schedule Session

Once your senior completes their assessment, a link to schedule a 1 hour, one-on-one session will be sent to you. At the session, we will discuss assessment results as well as specific college majors, jobs, and shadowing opportunities. You have until January 1st, 2025 to complete the individual session.

  • Nothing. JA has covered all costs.

  • We still STRONGLY encourage students to participate. Our expertise is learning what new jobs are available and best suited to needs. So, even if your senior knows what field they are interested in, working with us will help solidify their plan, as well as learn new opportunities in their chosen field.

  • No. JA doesn't require this, but we strongly recommend it as it's free for parents/ students. It requires little input for what we believe can be a massive output in their life

  • The one-on-one session is for both you and your son/daughter. However, if you want me to meet only with them, or you, that's perfectly fine.

  • I have an office in Highland Village that is always available, but I meet at coffee shops, JA, houses, etc. We will schedule a location once I reach out after assessment is completed.

  • Good. You should be skeptical of personality tests or any assessment that claims to be a "crystal ball" for life direction. Though we believe the Birkman is a powerful tool, it isn't what provides meaning to work. It's simply a starting point for us to help your son or daughter find work they will love and excel in.
